Weather of Pinkcity


The city has three seasons. The hot-weather season, which characterises Jaipur, extends from March to mid-June when the mercury shoots to 45 C. The rainy season is spread from mid-June to September when the city receives its much needed water supply from the south-west monsoon. The average annual rainfall is about 70 cm. The cold-weather season, bet October and February, reveals the wide range of temperatures experienced by Jaipur: the minimum touches 4 C!

Jaipur nestles amongst the hills of the Aravali Ranges, open to the plains only in the south. The crests of these hills are, almost without exception, adorned with forts aqd towers.
